In January 2017, Amazon took a huge step in making it easier for independent authors to sell both print and e-books in the Amazon marketplace. This is HUGE!!! Why? Because up until now, if you wanted to sell both a print version of your book and an e-book version, you had to use two different platforms and use completely different tools. Kindle Direct Publishing was for e-books. Createspace was for print. They were even on completely different websites. Likewise, you had to create two different accounts with Amazon. You could get your print and Kindle books "linked," but it was not that easy to do and didn't always work.
However, you still need to format the interior of the book properly, design a cover either using Kindle Cover Creator or in an image manipulation program like Photoshop using a template. That's the purpose of this course. We will get you up to speed with the new system with simple easy-to-follow instructions. You will learn:
How to Set Up Your Account
How to Step up from Kindle to Print
How to Format the Interior of your Book
Managing Pagination, Headers, and Footers
Using Styles to give your Book a Professional Look and Feel
How to Create a Cover for Your Book, Even if You "know nothing" about Technology or Graphic Design.
How to Preview and Upload your Book to Amazon for Sale
And since CreateSpace is still open for producing print copies for sale by the author and distribution to sales venues other than Amazon, this course will also cover the use of CreateSpace resources and some tips on when to use CreateSpace and when to use Kindle Direct.
This is the Absolute Latest Information you will Find on Selling Print Books on Amazon. Don't Delay! Stay Ahead of the Game!
"I just wanted to say thank you so much for your courses, especially converting a book for print, I did mine yesterday for my first book your instructions made it so much easier. God gave you a teaching, as well as a writing gift I think, and I speak as a retired uni lecturer."
